For the adventurist explorer, you can do it all. Bring your running shoes, skis, golf clubs, bike, kayak/canoe, and your camera to enjoy a variety of leisure fun. We will shuttle you there and back too!

A Perfect Spot for the Cycling Adventurer

Our active farm is located approximately 2.5 miles from mile marker 99.4 on the C&O Canal Towpath in Williamsport, MD. We provide free shuttle service, secure bike storage, and a wash station. A bike parts and repair service is available nearby.

We are proudly located on the Great Allegheny Passage hiking and biking trail that stretches from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington D.C. Get more information on the trail and biking the towpath.

Our Historic Farm Is Its Own Attraction, Too!

Listed on the national historic registry and containing the third largest barn in Washington County, MD, Elmwood Farm is an active, historic farm that dates back to the Civil War era.

Every year, we shear our alpacas, bag up the fleece, and sell it to manufacturers or use it in our gift shop!
