As the Founding CEO of Elmwood Farm Hospitality Group (EFHG) and its business entities, Selena is a retired LPGA Futures Tour Golfer and an entrepreneur who has been instrumental to the historic preservation of Elmwood Farm and its interior design. Selena has traveled most of the USA and has had firsthand experience with the hospitality industry as a frequent traveler staying at a variety of hotels and private tour housing opportunities while playing professional golf and meeting with all types of business people. Selena is a bi-lateral cochlear implant recipient and has overcome many obstacles growing up. She is a well-rounded person who has a variety of interests and the vision to create and execute new ideas/projects. Selena was an outstanding athlete and team player who is has always been an overachiever. Today she is a great example of someone with positive energy who can turn around the negative. She never gives up and is constantly striving after her goals, helping others and giving back to the local community.

As the Vice President of Event Operations, Lettie, sought a career change to join EFHG in March 2016 to assist her older sister, Selena, with the B&B expansion to accommodate weddings & events at Elmwood. Previously, after 18 years of success in the higher education discipline, Lettie was a successful Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Queens University of Charlotte in NC. Like her older sister, Lettie was a collegiate athlete who excelled in volleyball. Her key attributes of mental toughness, competitiveness and working as a team player has contributed to her career success. Lettie is a well-rounded person who loves to recruit, advertise/market, organize, help and execute ideas for weddings and events. She thrives to make sure every guest and wedding party is taken care of over and beyond. Lettie has the eye for attention to detail and helping others achieve their visions.

Both, Selena and Lettie are in involved with and have dedicated their time with the local community, their church and several non-profit and county boards. They are both are Certified Tourism Ambassadors and will help you plan your stay by request. You will find Selena and Lettie as very caring, down to earth ladies who love to entertain and have fun. They are very hospitable and will make you to feel “at home” with them at Elmwood Farm. The Wilkes Sisters respect and complement each other very well. Their love for Elmwood, history, adventure, community, people and farm animals is contagious. They strongly believe in the motto, “Work Hard and Play Hard.”
