History: 1858, Lewis Ripple and his brother-in-law Benjamin F. Newcomer purchased the land and built the home where Elmwood Farm now sits. The property changed hands a few more times and in 1909 it was purchased by John M. Kendle. The great-great grandfather to the current innkeepers.  The farm has remained in the family since then. Common Areas at our Williamsport MD Bed and Breakfast:

The Grand Parlor & Living Room: The Grand Parlor (pictures 1-3) is a relaxing area to curl up with a book, or if you’re planning an event such as a birthday party, anniversary party, bridal party, luncheon, the Grand Parlor is a intimate venue. The last image in this set is our cozy living room TV.

General’s Tavern: located on the lower basement level, includes pool table, fireplace, flat screen TV with recliners, large table, and bar. The “tavern” makes the perfect venue for a bachelor party or area for the groom and groomsmen to get ready for the big day. 

Dining Room: Breakfast is served each morning in the Dining Room.  Large double french doors lead into the dining room from the Grand Parlor, which can be opened to accommodate larger groups for events.
